Wigan buoyed by Neville visit

Wigan are hoping a pep talk from former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville will help them get back to winning ways.

Neville was invited by the club's rugby general manager and former Great Britain full-back Kris Radlinski to address the players and coaching staff at a break in training ahead of Sunday's home game against London Broncos.

Warriors head coach Shaun Wane, whose side suffered their first defeat of the season at Huddersfield last Saturday, said: "He was fantastic and we really enjoyed having him in.

"The players got a lot out of it. He explained to us the culture at Man United of Alex Ferguson and all the boys said afterwards it is a similar model we try to follow here. It was a real lift for the club."
