Wildcats wait on stadium plans

Wakefield must wait longer to discover if they are to get the go-ahead for a new stadium.

The Stobart Super League club were told to expect a decision on the proposed £19million development at Newmarket on Tuesday following a two-week public inquiry in December.

But the Wildcats said on Monday: "The club has been informed that this decision has been delayed with no new date currently set."
