Wilder will settle for a point

Oxford manager Chris Wilder was content with a point after his side's 2-2 draw away at Barnet in on Tuesday evening.

The Bees took the lead in the fifth minute through Jake Hyde before U's midfielder Sean Rigg equalised moments later. Wilder's side then took the lead but had to settle for a draw when Hyde scored his second to draw the Bees level.

They were left to agonise over Johnny Mullins' header in the final minute of stoppage-time that hit both posts before landing in Bees goalkeeper Graham Stack's arms.

Wilder said: "It was a tough night but we got a good reaction from going a goal behind and then got our noses in front and you have to give them a bit of credit.

"In the end we thought we had won in the 94th minute but this result is a start for us.

"We have plenty of enthusiasm and desire to do well. We are disappointed not to go on and win it but we have to dust ourselves down and go again."
