Willey dream spell seals win
David Willey basked in a "once in a lifetime" moment as he produced a dream spell of cricket to win the Friends Life T20 for Northamptonshire.
The 23-year-old clubbed 60 from 27 balls before taking four for nine with the ball to see off Surrey by 102 runs - his last three wickets ending the match with a stunning hat-trick.
It was the Steelbacks' first trophy since 1992 and although it was clearly a team effort at Edgbaston, Willey was the headline act.
"I'm really pleaed. To be honest I didn't think we'd won and I thought there was another wicket needed," he told Sky Sports.
"This is once in a lifetime. I will probably never play like this again so I should probably quit while I'm ahead.
"The guys are playing exceptional cricket, we enjoy each other's company and we are all contributing."
