Williams to be loaned out
Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is eager to send midfielder Jonny Williams out on loan.
The 20-year-old winger is highly regarded at Selhurst Park, but is yet to make a Premier League start this season.
That situation is unlikely to change any time soon, with the January arrival of loan star Tom Ince providing added competition for places.
Williams is prepared to be patient, having penned a new contract in January and announced that he was happy to see interest in his services rebuffed by Palace.
He is, however, in need of regular game time if he is to avoid seeing his career stagnate.
Pulis will do all he can to aid the Wales international's development and should have no problem in putting a loan agreement in place, with several Championship clubs believed to be keen on doing a deal.
The Palace boss said in the Daily Mirror: "We rate Jonny and we want him around long term. But he needs a regular run of games to get that sharpness back.
"I'd like to get him a good club and preferably a manager I know."
