Winning recipe on the Menu

Alain Menu converted pole position into his fourth WTCC victory of the season at the Suzuka East circuit in Japan on Sunday.

Having helped to secure Chevrolet their third consecutive manufacturers title on Saturday, Menu claimed victory in the first race, with team-mate and championship leader Yvan Muller finishing second ahead of the third-placed RML Chevrolet of Rob Huff.

The three Chevrolet drivers could not capitalise in the second race, however, as Stefano D'Aste claimed the honours in race two.

D'Aste valiantly held off the challenges of Pepe Oriola and Gabriele Tarquini for victory, with Huff, Menu and Muller having to settle for fifth, sixth and seventh respectively - behind Mehdi Bennani.
