Something has to give when undefeated duo Warrington and Catalan Dragons meet at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.
The Dragons are one of only two teams with 100% records after the first two rounds of Super League while the Wolves' only dropped point came in last Friday's draw at Wigan.
Despite the departure of coach Trent Robinson and the early-season absence of the hugely influential Scott Dureau, the Catalans look capable under new boss Laurent Frayssinous of at least matching last year's fourth-placed finish.
Warrington coach Tony Smith said: "They look like not a lot has changed.
"They've changed a little bit of personnel, mainly bringing in Brent Webb, but the coach has been there for a while and he has continued in a similar vein.
"They've kept some continuity and they'll be a tough fixture for anybody this year."
Leeds coach Brian McDermott insists the champions will not be taking Salford lightly when the struggling City Reds visit Headingley tonight.
Salford have lost their last nine matches, going back to a 24-22 win at Hull KR last July, and are still in the process of rebuilding following the recent takeover by Marwan Koukash.
"Obviously things have been tough for them as a club since the end of last season but, with the new investor now on board, I am sure they are looking forward," McDermott said.
"They have had two tough opening fixtures but they will see the chance to come to the home of the champions and turn us over as a great way to relaunch the club and make a statement of intent.
"We need to make sure we are ready to match that level of enthusiasm."
The Rhinos, who suffered a shock defeat at Castleford on Sunday, will be looking to get back to winning ways before taking on Melbourne Storm in next Friday's World Club Challenge.
Hull will be seeking a third away win over St Helens in four years when they visit Langtree Park tonight.
The Black and Whites bounced back from their opening-night defeat by Leeds to open their account against Bradford last Sunday and coach Peter Gentle is hoping they can build on their first win.
"We set a lot of things right last week but it's what we do off the back of that," he said. "We can't just be a flash in the pan.
"There were a lot of positives to take out of last week's game but I don't believe in brushing aside the negatives either.
"We've had a look at what we did well but we've also had a good look at what we did poorly this week and hopefully we can improve again at St Helens."
