Wood set for England debut
England Women have named an 18-strong squad for next week's Investec Cup international hockey tournament at Lee Valley in London.
The squad for the pre-Commonwealth Games event features all 16 players named for Glasgow, along with East Grinstead goalkeeper Kirsty Mackay and Surbiton's Sarah Haycroft, neither of whom will be heading to Scotland later this month.
Newcomer to the squad, Holcombe's Lucy Wood, will make her international debut against Wales on Wednesday, the first of four matches over a five-day period.
