Worcester play down Biggs link
Worcester boss Dean Ryan has rejected reports they are set to secure the services of Bath winger Tom Biggs.
It was reported over the weekend that the 29-year-old England Saxons star was turning his back on a proposed rugby code switch.
The Rugby Paper suggested Biggs would no longer be heading to Hull FC and would instead be signing for the Worcester Warriors in the summer.
"Speculation doesn't serve anybody," Ryan told the BBC. "I've said all season that players announcements come through the club."
Out of favour
The former Leeds and Newcastle player has not failed to make an appearance for Bath since October.
It did look like Biggs was set to sign a three-year contract with Hull, tying him to the KC Stadium until the end of 2016, with the Super League club hoping to have him available for the start of the season in February.
Stories of his next career move have gathered momentum over the last few weeks, but his future is not any clearer following Ryan's comments.
The Warriors director of rugby added: "I don't comment on what the Rugby Paper puts in. We have a recruitment strategy here. We announce signings when we've got them and that will be the same going forward."
