Wordsworth can leave Ipswich
Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy has confirmed that Anthony Wordsworth is free to leave the club.
The midfielder joined the Tractor Boys from Colchester in 2013 and has since made 20 appearances.
The 25-year-old has played twice for the Sky Bet Championship club so far this campaign and has over 200 career appearances under his belt since coming through the U's youth set-up.
McCarthy confirmed to the club's website: "I have spoken to Woody and he's available now to go out on loan or to join a club permanently. He needs to be out there playing games."
He also poured cold water on possible speculation of former player Darren Ambrose and ex-West Ham man Jack Collison joining, after training with the club and playing in friendlies in recent weeks.
He added: "Darren is not on trial or anything like that. It's just like Jack Collison, who is also with us. Darren asked if he can train with us and we're happy to let him do that but it's no more than that."
