Bernadette Christie, from Alberta in Canada, was forced to abandon her water-logged tent after she was soaked through watching the flotilla. She spent most of the day trying to drain the rain from her soaking blow-up mattress. But she still kept her sense of humour, saying: "Oh, it's all been worth it." (PA)
