Artist Serena de la Hey begins to feed willow on to the base of the giant 40ft (12m) Willow Man sculpture next to the M5 motorway in Somerset, which is getting an 18,000 pound facelift and having its head and arms repaired over the next five days. The sculpture, commissioned by Arts Council England in 2000, was originally installed as a temporary work and is made from locally grown willow woven around a steel frame. (PA)
