commentary

FOUR! Morkel to Ajmal. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, outside edge in the air uncontrolled past third man for 4 runs. Ajmal edges the ball away for four and Pakistan have come back from the dead to win this game. They were 76/7 at one stage but Umar Gul came in and smashed his highest ever T20 score to keep his side in touch going into the final over. Umar Akmal had anchored the innings but produced a maximum when it most mattered to guide his side to a win that should have been far more comfortable. Pakistan bowled beautifully early on, restricting South Africa to just 133 but their batsmen played some awful shots to find themselves in big trouble. Luckily Umar Gul chanced his arm and he came off to secure a big win for his side.
