| Kings XI Punjab | 123-4 (16.3 ovs) |
Over 17. 4 runs. Bowler: Albie Morkel. Kings XI Punjab: 123/4(rr 7.24)
FOUR! Morkel to Sagar. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, mis-timed past deep square leg for 4 runs. Azhar Mahmood hits the winning runs to complete a comfortable victory for King's XI. Despite a mini wobble in the middle overs, the result never really looked in doubt after the platform that had been built by Mandeep Singh and the brilliant Adam Gilchrist. The captain's 64* proved decisive in the end in guiding his side to victory and his return could not have come at a better time as King's XI move up to 5th place in the table with one match remaining. Chennai are in 4th and have completed all of their group matches now.

King's XI are desperate to win this as quickly as possible to improve their run rate in the final standings, but Hilfenhaus bowled with good control in that over and restricted them to just 5 runs. The Australian finishes with figures of 1-20.

OUT! Caught. Hilfenhaus to Chitnis. Half volley, outside off stump down the track driving, outside edge in the air uncontrolled, fielded by Dhoni. Silly batting from Chitnis as he takes a wild swipe that he can only edge through to Dhoni.

SIX! Mahesh to Gilchrist. Length ball, middle stump on the back foot flick, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Another huge 6 that followed a crushing drive over mid off for 4. Gilchrist looks in a hurry to end this here.

Bravo unable to replicate his heroics from his first two overs as that one goes for 11. This is turning into a handy partnership now.

FOUR! Bravo to Hussey. Back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past deep backward point for 4 runs.
Two LBW appeals in that over from Ashwin - the first was going down the legside while the second was rejected for height. Ashwin has bowled out now - 0-27 his figures.

Ashwin flies through another over, and it's a good one, just 4 runs conceded.
Over 8. 4 runs. Bowler: Ravichandran Ashwin. Kings XI Punjab: 55/1(rr 6.88)
Ashwin to Saini. Off break half volley, off stump on the front foot pushing, to long off for 1 run, fielded by Vijay.
