If you're a pay monthly customer, you can now receive email on your Nokia phone, keeping you up to date while you're away from your computer. Check that your phone is compatible below.
Mail by Ovi is really easy to use and already set up ready to go on Nokia's newest phones. If you have an older phone, it takes just a minute to download the service. Text the word email to 247 to get going.
Mail by Ovi isn't available to pay as you go customers but email on your phone is available.

Setting up your Nokia for email is easy - just click "set up email" from the home screen.
Enter your email address and password. Your phone will then alert you when an email arrives. You can add up to 10 email addresses and any attachments are also delivered to your phone.
If the software isn't on your phone, text "email" to 247 to receive a text from Orange with a link to Orange World where you can download the service to your Nokia phone. Or visit Orange World and go to the email page.
Mail by Ovi for Business customers

* Email is included in some monthly plans - get included unlimited push email and mobile internet (fair usage policy applies), plus minutes and text as part of the monthly access fee.
* Mobile email can be added to any other pay monthly plan - Unlimited push email for an extra £5 a month. Choose the first month free offer with a new talk plan.
* Without an extra or plan - any Mail by Ovi data used will be charged for from your internet browsing bundle or at standard out-of-bundle rates.
Call Orange customer services on 150 to have this added to your plan.

Mail by Ovi for Business customers
Please note that roaming charges are in addition to subscriptions for Mail by Ovi. These will be charged at the standard data roaming rates.
If you do travel abroad regularly and you want to continue using the service, you'll need to change a setting in the client on the phone. To do this from the client, click 'settings', 'when to sync' and change 'sync whilst roaming' from 'off' to 'on'. In establishing the GPRS connection a roaming charge will be triggered when the device connects to the network, enabling the service to send and receive email.
