The plot: Thirty-five year-old Jesse Fisher works as an admissions officer at a university in New York City. Out of the blue, he receives an invitation to attend the retirement party of his favourite college professor, Peter Hoberg, and gladly travels back to Ohio to celebrate the man who fired his passion for the written word. Back in the hallowed corridors of Kenyon College in Gambier, Jesse crosses paths with 19-year-old undergraduate Zibby and falls head over heels in love with the outspoken young woman.
