The plot: Politician Barry Moochmore is horrified when his wife Shirley suffers a breakdown and retreats into a fantasy world created around her favourite musical, The Sound Of Music. With five daughters to keep in line, Barry hires ballsy drifter Shaz to oversee day-to-day life in the family home while he prepares his re-election campaign. Shaz initially strikes fear into the hearts of the Moochmore girls but they gradually draw strength and inspiration from her.
