The plot: George used to have the sporting world at his feet as a professional footballer, with a beautiful wife Stacie and cherubic son Lewis. Unfortunately, George allowed his celebrity to go to his head, and his roving eye eventually led to divorce. Years have passed and now George has retired from the beautiful game and relocated to Virginia to reconnect with Lewis and perhaps win back Stacie. Unfortunately, she has a handsome fiance, Matt, and still bears the scars of George's infidelity.
what the others say
HeyUGuys
"Sometimes films don't look too promising from the outset, but then proceed to pleasantly surprise you. Unfortunately on this occasion, this one is as bad as it looks."
The Hollywood Reporter
"A good premise for a comedy, but somewhere along the way, it got diluted and turned into a sappy, feel-good story of family togetherness."
Variety
"A modestly affecting reconciliation drama wrapped in a so-so sports movie by way of a misogynistic romantic comedy."
