The plot: Army brass including Colonel William Mortamus hold firm to the belief that African Americans are not suitably intelligent or quick-witted to fly fighter planes during the Second World War. Thankfully, Colonel Jack Tomilson throws his support behind the 332nd squadron, known as the Tuskegee Airmen, under the command of Colonel AJ Bullard and Major Emmanuel Stance. As the conflict escalates, the Tuskegee Airmen are gifted a daring mission to provide cover for an Allied beach landing.

what the others say
"This has great action, an affable cast and an inspirational story. But given its subject, it could have been so much more."
"A popcorn memorial that's as eye-saucering as it is shamelessly corny."
"Apart from the occasional thrill provided by CG-enhanced aerial dogfights, this stuffy history lesson about the groundbreaking African-American fighter pilot division never quite takes off, weighed down by wooden characters and leaden screenwriting."
