The plot: Tina lives at home with her harridan mother, who never lets her daughter forget an unfortunate incident with some knitting needles. Desperate for room to breathe, Tina agrees to accompany her nerdy boyfriend Chris on a caravanning holiday to some of the country's great cultural hotspots including Keswick Pencil Museum and the National Tramway Museum in Crich. As they tour the windswept countryside, Chris deals out rough justice to passers-by who dare to be rude or inconsiderate.

what the others say
"Reservations are offset by the absolute confidence and visual style that Wheatley always shows."
"Wheatley's film serves as a black-comic state-of-the-nation address."
"At first Father Ted cute, but then League Of Gentlemen cruel - a combination that Wheatley never lets curdle - this is a dark little delight."
