The plot: High-flying Democrat presidential candidate, Governor Mike Morris, has a knack for spouting the perfect sound bite with a winning smile. Flanked by his ballsy campaign manager Paul Zara and brilliant lieutenant and press secretary, Stephen Meyers, Morris seems destined for the White House. However, an ill-advised dalliance with seductive intern Molly Stearns leaves Morris's reputation hanging by a gossamer thread as the media vultures begin to circle.

- " Sadly, except for G.Clooney the whole cast, was miss cast, the story laboured on to near the end when there was a liitle "twist" I struggled to keep awake." — N. Belle, Bolton

Rolling Stone
"The Ides of March is a pulse-racing thriller that hits where it hurts. Clooney's performance is exceptional and Gosling is terrific in an all-stops-out role."
Empire
"Entertaining while you're watching it but, as deceptive as a party's election promises, there's less to it than meets the eye."
Sky Movies
"Tight as a drum and smooth as a snakeskin suit, this is a movie that harks back to golden days of the conspiracy thriller yet remains totally credible as a chronicle of ruthless political ambition."
