The plot: Mega-budget love story chronicling the doomed romance of beautiful socialite Rose DeWitt Bukater and spirited artist Jack Dawson aboard the eponymous luxury liner. Rose's jealous and snobbish fiance Cal Hockley schemes to drive a wedge between the sweethearts with the help of his valet, Spicer Lovejoy. However, fate intervenes and passengers of all classes fight for their lives as the ship hits an iceberg and quickly takes on freezing water.
