The plot: Detective Max Lewinsky attempts to single-handedly take down notorious criminal Jacob Sternwood and his gang. The subsequent shootout leaves Max badly injured, nursing not just physical injuries but permanent scarring to his confidence. Many years later, Jacob's son Ruan is involved in a bungled heist and the elusive criminal is lured out of hiding to seek revenge in the capital. Max seizes the chance to hunt down his arch-nemesis.
