FULL-TIME: MAN UNITED WIN! Man United have opened up a ten-point gap at the top but they have had to work incredibly hard for it! This game should've have been wrapped up by half-time but mainly thanks to Liverpool's wayward finishing, they've managed to grind out the win. Thanks for joining Orange's live coverage. Stay tuned for the full-match report.
90+3 mins: Agger commits a silly foul deep in his own half and with 30 seconds left, that should wrap up the three points for the Red Devils.
90+2 mins: Great work by Valencia who buys a free-kick on the right byline. Gary Neville has just given the man of the match to Welbeck! Wow!
90+1 mins: Van Persie makes that deadly movement across the face of goal and tries again with another fancy flick. Reina is equal to it though.
89 mins: Man United keep on gifting the ball back to Liverpool but a needless foul by Gerrard on Carrick lifts the pressure once more. Four minutes added on!
Ian, Buxton - "Cant see what fergie sees in welbeck most overated forward in prem division"
85 mins: Sturridge! With the goal gaping, he blasts it over! Great determination from Suarez beforehand to keep the move alive for Liverpool. This is so tense!
83 mins: This is getting really scrappy now. Man United are punting it anywhere and Liverpool's attacks are falling apart.
80 mins:As we approach a big final ten minutes in this match. Liverpool chuck on Henderson for Allen. Welbeck then continues to annoy by dribbling the ball over the byline and falling over too.
78 mins: Rafael does well to single-handedly break up a Liverpool attack and win a throw-in too. Another Man United sub follows with Vidic, who may well have scored the second goal, coming off for Smalling.
Richard, Southend -"squeaky bum time for united... hernandez to come on and settle it!!"
76 mins: Man United launch a counter attack and the pressure relents a little as Johnson goes into the book. The hosts then make a change with Jones coming on for Kagawa.
Alan, Shaftesbury -"If Liverpool had their shooting boots on, this would be three points to them."
74 mins: Evra is shown a yellow as hacks down a rampaging Downing. Liverpool are really turning the screw. Can they make it count?
72 mins: Fergie is up off his seat and with good reason too as his defence continue to play horrible passes. Borini is the latest player unable to punish the Red Devils, drilling a volley wide of the left post.
70 mins: Suarez floats a brilliant cross-field ball to Sturridge who brings it down well. The only thing missing is the finish as he slaps it wide. Man United are hanging on a bit here!
68 mins: Downing plays a lovely ball out to Johnson on the left wing, who comes inside on his stronger right foot and belts a low shot wide.
65 mins: Fantastic save from Reina! Man United are flying towards the Liverpool goal where Welbeck's awful pass breaks back nicely for Kagawa. He tries to bend it into the top corner but Reina claws it away at full-stretch.
62 mins: Rodgers brings on another of his attacking options in Borini who makes his return from injury. He replaces Sterling who has been poor.
60 mins: Another free-kick in a promising position for Man United is scuppered by van Persie. He rattles this one into the wall and Reina is first to the deflection.
57 MINS: LIVERPOOL BACK IN IT! What a game we have on our hands here! The Man United defence switch off, allowing Gerrard to pull the trigger from 20 yards out. De Gea gets a good hand to it but the rebound falls to STURRIDGE who cracks the ball into the net! Game on!
54 MINS: MAN UNITED DOUBLE THEIR LEAD! The cross from van Persie was just begging to be attacked! He loops it over to the far post where either Evra or Vidic got the final touch. Evra's the one celebrating so he's getting it! Liverpool with it all to do!
51 mins:This game is far, far from done and dusted as Wisdom is left all alone in the area. He slips at the vital moment though, causing him to skew his shot wide. Liverpool are growing in confidence.
49 mins: RVP lines up to take a free-kick around 25 yards out for Man United, but he blasts it into orbit.
47 mins: At the other end, Welbeck has a go from distance. You already know where it's ended up.
46 mins: Sturridge has indeed taken up a central role and is given an alarming amount of room to make something happen for Liverpool. Thankfully for Man United, his pass looking for Suarez is misplaced.
Jo, Dorset -"I've never rated Welbeck personally, not in the same league as Suarez or Van Persie. All hype"
45 mins: Welcome back. Both sides have made a change at the break with Valencia replacing the below-par Young and Sturridge comes on for Lucas. It remains to be seen whether or not he will partner Suarez.
HALF-TIME: Man United go into the break with a slender lead and will be disappointed that they are not further ahead. Liverpool will still be hopeful at this stage despite a dismal show in the first-half. Suarez and Gerrard in particular have done nothing to inspire the Reds so far. Join me again for the second-half in 15 minutes!
45+3 mins: Lucas comes in with another late tackle and becomes the first player in Webb's notebook. Van Persie curls the set-piece into the area but it's easily cleared.
45 mins: As Reina gets to his feet, it'll be interesting to see if Man United's wasted chances will come back to bite them. Van Persie could have had a hat-trick already this afternoon.
44 mins: Another great chance for Man United! Rafael does brilliantly to get past Johnson and then stay on his feet in the area. He squares to van Persie whose fancy flick doesn't come off and then Kagawa is denied by a brave Reina who is smashed in his face for his troubles!
43 mins: Liverpool are finishing the half strongly with a couple of corners but the Man United defence are able to boot the ball away with ease.
Kevin, Beckenham -"Liverpool are looking clueless"
41 mins: SO close for Man United! Young's cross is headed tamely away by Allen and Cleverley unleashes a vicious volley which flashes past the right post. That would have been some goal!
38 mins: Downing lofts the ball up to Suarez who is acres of space and has Gerrard in support. Liverpool look dangerous but the attack fizzles out when Gerrard's attempted one-two goes flying out of a goal-kick.
36 mins: Suarez has had an equally shocking first half as he balloons a cross way over the bar. Not really the fixture to have an off day in!
34 mins: I'm not sure about you but I don't think Welbeck is actually that good. He does nothing to change my opinion of him as he wastes two great chances. The first is drilled straight into Agger and the second is blasted over the bar!
30 mins: Young has gone down clutching his knee after a heft collison with Agger. A hooded Mourinho watches on from the posh seats. Preliminary talks perhaps?
27 mins: Van Persie gets another clear sight of goal when Young guides the ball through to him but he rushes the shot and spoons it over. Agger and Skrtel were nowhere to be seen!
25 mins: There's a little sign that Man United are getting a bit too cocky as Evra tries to dribble out of his own box. Allen hounds him and thinks he's won a corner but Howard Webb awards the goal-kick. I know what you're thinking!
22 mins: Gerrard nearly gifts van Persie another clear chance at goal with a dreadful pass, but where other players may have given up, Liverpool's captain works back and recovers the situation.
19 MINS: VAN PERSIE SCORES! Well who else was it going to be for Manchester United?! Again the Red Devils target Liverpool's weak right side and Evra plays a low cross in which VAN PERSIE pounces on, guiding it expertly past Reina's left!
17 mins: Cleverley threads the ball into RVP who tries his luck from a very tight angle. Skrtel reads it well though and gets the block in early.
15 mins: Suarez tries to work his way into the area but he's up against Vidic today and not QPR's Hill. De Gea is able to gather the loose ball.
13 mins: Liverpool win a couple of free-kicks just inside the final third but both are headed away well in the area. This game hasn't properly sparked into life yet.
10 mins: Reina's goalkeeping frailties make an early appearance as his weak kick out only goes as far as Welbeck. He later plays the ball back into van Persie's path but his rigt-footed effort is blocked.
8 mins: Kagawa wins the first corner of the afternoon after Wisdom turns his cross behind. It ultimately ends in disappointment as Young's delivery is shocking.
5 mins: Another easy catch for Reina as Evra's cross lacks pace and conviction. Man United seem keen to test out the relatively inexperienced Wisdom.
Cris, Inverness -"My prediction for this game will be 2-2"
3 mins: There's the usual treatment for Suarez who makes a mess of his opening touches. A promising move then begins to build for Man United until Kagawa's early cross deflects into Reina's arms.
0 mins: An almighty roar erupts inside Old Trafford as the hosts get this tasty clash underway. Liverpool are donning their black away shirts this afternoon.
1328: BREAKING NEWS! Suarez and Evra have shook hands. Thank goodness for that.
Rob, Birmingham - "Tough one to call today if Liverpool take their chances i think 2-3 in Liverpool's favour."
1327: We're almost ready for one of the biggest fixtures the Premier League has to offer. No hugs or handshakes in the tunnel. This one means something. I'm expecting goals, cards, penalties, the lot!
1300: Welcome to our build-up to today's Premier League clash at Old Trafford as Manchester United take on bitter rivals Liverpool.

Manchester United saw off a late Liverpool rally to beat their old rivals 2-1 at Old Trafford and tighten their grip on top spot in the Premier League.
Robin van Persie had given United a first-half lead and Nemanja Vidic extended their dominance in fortunate fashion early in the second half.
But substitute Daniel Sturridge's first league goal for Liverpool brought the visitors back into the game and there were one or two nervy moments before the Red Devils confirmed the three points.
United took the lead with the opening chance of the game on 19 minutes when van Persie swept home first time from Patrice Evra's low cross following a patient build-up by the leaders.
Van Persie was almost in again on 27 minutes after Ashley Young's pass found him in space just inside the box, but the Dutchman's first-time finish on this occasion flew over the bar.
Joe Allen was enduring a difficult afternoon and the midfielder's loose pass was seized upon by Danny Welbeck before Daniel Agger produced a great block to deny the striker.
Luis Suarez blazed over Liverpool's only shot of the first half before Tom Cleverley flashed a volley wide after Allen's poor headed clearance from Young's cross.
The Red Devils should have extended their lead just before the break, but van Persie's flick from Rafael's cross was cleared off the line by Martin Skrtel and Pepe Reina was hurt in a collision with Shinji Kagawa in the scramble for the loose ball.
United struck again on 53 minutes when Skrtel was booked for hauling back Welbeck and van Persie's delivery was met by Evra, whose header was inadvertently deflected in by Vidic.
Liverpool were quick to respond and pulled a goal back within four minutes when Sturridge, a half-time replacement for Lucas, was sharpest to the loose ball after David de Gea could only parry Steven Gerrard's low drive from outside the box.
Kagawa forced a flying save out of Reina with a deft curler before Glen Johnson, Sturridge and another substitute Fabio Borini all failed to find the target in a five-minute spell of Liverpool pressure.
Sturridge had Liverpool's best chance in the closing stages, but scooped his shot over the bar and United spent the last couple of minutes of stoppage-time deep in opposition territory before Howard Webb blew for full-time.
