90+2 mins: FULL TIME! Rafa Benitez records his first Chelsea win in convincing style, but with Juve winning 1-0 in Ukraine the Champions League holders are out! It's the Europa League for the Blues. Celtic, by the way, have gone through after beating Spartak 2-1. Thanks for following and for all your texts, a full report will follow...
90 mins: There's two minutes added on at a rapidly-emptying Stamford Bridge.
89 mins: Luiz is needlessly booked and misses Chelsea's next European tie.
87 mins: What a goal that would have been - a cheeky backheel by Moses after being set up by a Rabona from Torres. A relieved Hansen makes the save.
84 mins: Luiz goes close! He beats the wall and get bags of dip but it's just over the bar!
83 mins: Hazard tears through midfield and heads for the box, only to be halted by a lunge from Mtiliga who gets booked. It's a free kick 18 yards out, a shade off to the right...
80 mins: Torres tees up Oscar who sees his sidefooted effort beaten away! Chelsea are toying with the Danes.
77 mins: Torres knocks the ball past a defender and races into the box, he's shoved off the ball but the ref gives nothing! Looked a good shout to me.
74 mins: Nordsjaelland, like a jobsworth scatologist, are just going through the motions now. I thought 6/1 for a Torres hat-trick was tight at kick-off, but it's looking handsome now.
72 mins: Mata makes way for Ferreira in the final change for the Blues.
71 mins: IT'S SIX! OSCAR STRIKES! Mata slips a ball through to Oscar to sidefoot home from 15 yards! It was hardly eye-of-a-needle stuff from Mata either, you could have driven a truck through the hole in the defence!
68 mins: Chelsea are all over the Danes who are there for the taking.
65 mins: One sub apiece, Ramires makes way for Oscar while Issah is on for Ticinovic.
63 mins: MATA MAKES IT FIVE! He plays a one-two with Hazard down the right of the box, gets a lucky break as Hansen parries his shot straight back into this path but he slots home from the tightest of angles! The celebrations in the stands are subdued though, with one eye on the scoreline from Ukraine.
62 mins: Torres goes down in the box but it's a dramatic fall under the challenge of Adu. More convincing than some of the hand balls we saw though!
59 mins: First change for Chelsea sees Cole make way for Bertrand. Cole picked up a knock before half time and isn't being risked any longer. Sub for the Danes too Kildentoft replacing Christiansen.
56 mins: TORRES BAGS A BRACE! Great work by Hazard to outfox Stokholm and get round the back, cutting back to Torres who stabs high into the net from close range. They celebrate at the Bridge, but the scoreline is filtering through from Ukraine...
*GOALFLASH* Juventus are leading! Blimey, that's popped the balloon. Chelsea need something special from Shakhtar now.
52 mins: Mata sends Ramires scampering down the right and his cut-back is cut out for a corner. It's played short and eventually comes to Mata who looks to curl one into the top corner from the edge of the box but just can't get enough bend on it.
50 mins: FRET YE NOT! CHELSEA HIT BACK! The Blues win a free-kick out on the right which Mata bends towards the back stick, CAHILL leaps to get his head on it and loops a header back across goal, beating Hansen into the right corner!
Mark in Liverpool: "Jeaz in Hants, take Torres & Raffa back? no ta, r 2 double agents r doin just fine ta! By the time Roman realises there double agents u will be in the championship, roman will have left u taking the 750 mill u owe him & u will b back supporting S'hampton!"
48 mins: I nearly stuck a quid on Chelsea HT Nordsjaelland FT at 275/1 this afternoon. Please don't let that happen.
46 mins: WHAT A START TO THE SECOND HALF! Nordsjaelland kick off playing right to left and almost from the off a superb ball is played through to JOHN down the left of the box for him to clip past Cech!
Callum, Harpenden: "I think Chelsea will win 3-0"
45+3 mins: Cech makes a smart stop on his line just as the whistle goes for HALF TIME. Three penalties in seven minutes, two being missed before Luiz showed them how it's done, then Torres found the net just before the break. Decent first half! It's still 0-0 in the Ukraine though, so as it stands the holders are going out...
45+2 mins: TORRES DOUBLES THE LEAD! Moses slips Torres through, he shoots and gets a lucky break as it hits the keeper, then rebounds of his chest back into his path for him to slot home into an empty net! Regards my 43 mins update, shows what I know!
Darryl, Rugby: "Jaez Hants what a typical Chelski fans type of comment with Abramavic you'd be in the Championship pal wave your plastic flag now !"
45 mins: Three minutes added on at the Bridge.
43 mins: Mata hooks a cross in from the right but it's hacked clear. Torres is having one of those nights where it looks like he wouldn't score if they carried on til midnight.
41 mins: Chelsea are fulfilling their part of the bargain then, if only Shakhtar can do the same. Important interception by Luiz in midfield, then a lovely touch to outfox Gundelach and bring the ball away to safety.
Jeaz, Hants: "I wish rafa would go back to Liverpool and take torres with him ..where at least mid table is acceptable !!"
39 mins: THAT'S HOW YOU TAKE A PENALTY! It's blasted home by LUIZ, high into the top-right corner! No stopping that one!
38 mins: ANOTHER PENALTY TO CHELSEA! It's another handball, this time against Adu from Mata's shot! Really? There was nothing he could do about that. Hazard's not taking this one, Sideshow Bob steps up...
35 mins: UNBELIEVABLE! HAZARD MISSES! Two missed pens in five minutes! He goes low and right and Hansen makes a brilliant stop!
34 mins: PENALTY TO CHELSEA! Cahill's header hits Beckmann on the arm! Again the ref takes an eternity but blows up!
33 mins: Torres is through but instead of shooting early he cuts past one more man, then toe-pokes a shot which takes a big deflection for a corner.
32 mins: CECH SAVES! Skipper Stokholm goes left and low, Cech beating to out at full stretch!
31 mins: PENALTY TO NORDSJAELLAND! Cahill gets clocked on the arm from Christiansen's shot! The ref takes an age to blow but eventually points to the spot!
29 mins: Adu has a crack from distance but Cech's behind it all the way, batting down the the 25-yarder on his line. Think that's the first save he's had to make.
27 mins: Nearly an own goal! Stokholm slices onto his own bar after Ramires crosses low into the six-yard box! Corner comes to nothing.
25 mins: Torres is 'eased' off the ball in the box as he bids to bicycle kick, and as no foul is given it makes him look a bit of a mug. Harsh.
23 mins: Chelsea win a free-kick out on he right, Torres gets his head on it in the box but the flag goes up for offside as his effort loops way over the bar.
21 mins: Torres is slipped through by Mata but strong defending by Stokholm means he's struggling to get much on the shot, toe-poking weakly to keeper Hansen.
19 mins: Ramires is flagged offside own the right and the Blues fans are up in arms - looked on to me too!
16 mins: Corner to the Blues on the far side, Mata's delivery is headed clear first time though. It's worked to Moses on the right who heads for the line, he clearly gets scythed down but the ref and his assistants give nothing!
13 mins: Lovely flowing move by the Blues as Ramires plays a fine one-two Mata before getting a shot in which Hansen takes high.
Shirley: "I've gone for Chelsea, Man Utd, Barcelona, S.Moscow & Bayern Munich 5'er accumulator!! Liverpool fan and i would like to see Rafa stay at Chelsea for years to come. He's doing a great job ;-)"
11 mins: Torres forces a fine parry from Hansen from 12 yards, he got some beans behind that!
10 mins: Torres has the ball in the net with a cheeky chip but the flag was already up when he was slipped through. Sub Beckmann finally comes on for the Danes, now without both first-choice centre-backs.
Ryan, Belfast: "Torres hatrick lol that would almost be as funny as Man Utd keeping a clean sheet"
8 mins: Play continues with Nordsjaelland down to ten men for the mo, Cole crosses deep to find Moses who rattles in a fierce volley from the right of the box which Hansen saves at his post!
6 mins: Early problem for the Danes as defender Runje is down with... well, I'm not sure what... and looks like me may have to be subbed. They're already missing one first-choice centre-back!
5 mins: There's the night's first booming chorus of "ONE DI MATTEO", probably not the last.
4 mins: The Danes pressure Chelsea as they pass it round the back, Cole nearly losing out on the edge of his own box but he's clipped and Chelsea get the free-kick.
2 mins: The Blues attack from the off and force a couple of early corners, nothing for keeper Hansen to do through and Nordsjaelland get it away at the second attempt.
0 mins: Chelsea kick off playing right to left, Nordsjaelland in red. Remember, Chelsea must win, and thanks to the head-to-head records, Shakhtar must beat Juventus for the Champions League holders to go through.
John Crocker, Scarborough: "the chelsea winning margin wont really matter asjuventus will have agreed their result with shaktar within hours of beating chelssea. my bet half-time. full-time double. cluj - cluj. and spartak - spartak..121 to 1 chelsea win. 5..6.. or 7 nil."
1943: You can just about make out Rafa Benitez on the Chelsea bench - he's the fella surrounded by 32 photographers. Zadok the Priest booms out as ever, and we're ready to roll.
1855: Evening all, and welcome to Orange's live commentary as Chelsea bid to avoid becoming the first Champions League holders to crash out of the competition before Christmas. The Blues go into the game needing to beat Nordsjaelland, while hoping Shakhtar Donetsk produce the same result against Juventus. Anything else and the team which ended their wait for Champions League glory just six months ago will continue their European campaign in the Europa League. Team news, and David Luiz returns from suspension after missing Saturday's Premier League defeat at West Ham due to picking up five yellow cards. John Terry (knee), Frank Lampard (calf) and Daniel Sturridge (hamstring) are all close to returning but tonight's game comes too soon. I'll bring you live commentary from 1945, in the mean time use the box on the right to send in your match predictions, and any bets you've got on tonight. I've gone for 5-0 with Torres first scorer at 28/1 (6/1 for a Torres hat-trick, how tight is that?!), also 1-0 Celtic and Cluj HT Man Utd FT. Only a quid on each, I'm not made of money you know.
Darren, Southend Hospital: "Torres no score chelsea get draw, chelsea under boring benitez to finish 8th and only win 8 games all season. Tho i fancy odds of him being the next prem boss fired. Abramovich should have a go at managing, wonder if he would sack himself."
MJ, Bristol: "chelsea to win 3-0 but juve to get a draw at shaktar to send chelsea crashing out"
