live commentary

FULL-TIME: EVERTON THROUGH! And it was never in doubt. Everton's big guns have all got on the scoresheet tonight to see them into the fourth-round where they will face Bolton or Sunderland away. Cheltenham, who did have something to celebrate at least, go back to their promotion hunt in League Two. Thanks for joining Orange's live coverage. Stay tuned for the full-match report.

90 mins: Three minutes of time added on at Whaddon Road. Time for a sixth?

89 MINS: IT'S FIVE NOW! FELLAINI gets in on the act as he pokes home Anichebe's curling cross from the left. Harsh on Cheltenham but Everton have been excellent here tonight.

87 mins: Everton very nearly get themselves a fifth after great work by Coleman down the right. He manages to get a cross in and Naismith's swinger is flapped away by the busy Brown.

83 mins: Anichebe tries to launch a counter attack for Everton but is stopped in his tracks just before he gets to the half-way line.

80 mins: Both sides make their final changes with Everton's Hitzlsperger coming on for Jelavic. For Cheltenham, Deering replaces McGlashan.

77 mins: Penn tries to bag himself a brace with a cracker of a shot from distance but it's not troubling Howard.

74 mins: Fellaini concedes a sloppy foul to give Cheltenham a free-kick a couple of yards inside opposition territory. Taylor rises well to win a header but can only arrow it wide of the right stick.

71 mins: Everton increase the tempo and it results in a promising move until Coleman's cross escapes the feet of Jelavic. At the other end, Taylor smacks over a well-struck volley.

68 mins: A long, hopeful punt into Everton box finds McGlashan who blasts it miles over from a tight angle. Everton then make their next change and it's Osman coming off for Naismith.

65 mins: Not much on the pitch to type about so for once I'm happy there are some subs! Taylor and Duffy come on for Carter and Goulding for the home side.

62 mins: With this game done and dusted, off comes one of the main men Baines to be replaced by Gueye.

58 MINS: CLASSY GOAL FROM EVERTON!What a finish this is from COLEMAN! He races onto Anichebe's delicate through ball and lifts the ball up and over Brown who stays completely rooted to the spot!

Christian, Southampton - "There was never any fear of an upset here. Moyes' Everton always give 100%, absolute professionals, & he doesnt have a deep enough squad 2 rotate anyway"

54 mins: It nearly gets even better for the Robins as the ball plops down into the Everton six-yard area but after a moment of hesitation, Distin blasts it away!

51 MINS: GREAT REPLY FROM THE HOSTS! Well I wasn't expecting that! Mohamed slips in a great ball to PENN, whose low, driven shot goes past Howard at his left post and crashing into the back of the net!

49 MINS: OSMAN MAKES IT THREE! Easy peasy. Anichebe plays the ball through to Baines on the overlap who just keeps himself onside. He plays it back to OSMAN who dances his way past his marker before blasting it past the keeper from close range.

47 mins: Anichebe tries his luck from just outside the area but he never looks at all comfortable when firing a poor left-footed shot well wide.

Nick, Bacup - "Statement of intent from moyes, he wants the f.a cup this year."

45 mins: Welcome back for the second half where Everton get us back underway. Both sides are unchanged.

HALF-TIME: So Everton are cruising into the fourth round after Jelavic and Baines put the Toffees almost out of sight early in the first-half. Join me again in around 15 minutes for the second-half.

45 mins: Two minutes of time added on as McGlashan commits another rash tackle, this time on Fellaini.

43 mins: Everton have a free-kick down by the left corner flag after McGlashan hacks down Baines in frustration. The left-back brushes himself down and just fails to find the head of Anichebe at the near post.

40 mins: Coleman finds Fellaini in the area but the Belgian is unable to guide his header towards the Cheltenham goal.

38 mins: A great first touch from Fellaini sees him past two bamboozled Cheltenham players. But, the through ball intended for Oviedo is way overhit.

36 mins: One glimmer of hope for Cheltenham is that McGlashan has given Baines a few problems. He wins another free-kick in a dangerous position but Distin clears the ball into the car park.

34 mins: A couple of corners awarded to Cheltenham get the home fans excited but the joy is short-lived as a foul on Howard is spotted by the assistant ref.

31 mins: Fellaini has Anichebe to his left and in plenty of space but instead he opts to send a left-footed curler just beyond the post. It's fair to say Everton's No.28 is not a happy chappy.

29 mins: As you can probably gather, Everton are completely dominating and on the hunt for more. Coleman easily skips past Jones down the right but he can't find a fellow Blue with his cross.

25 mins: There's a stunned silence at Whaddon Road since Everton have all but killed off any chance of a cup upset this evening. Howard provides a moment of comedy though with an horrendous clearance with his left foot.

21 MINS: BAINES MAKES IT TWO! No problems from the left-back. He belts it hard into the left corner which Brown has absolutely no chance of stopping. I hate to say it but that is game over already.

19 MINS: PENALTY TO EVERTON! Just after Brown makes a great save to deny another super Baines free-kick, he's now going to have to try and stop him scoring from the spot. The penalty is rewarded after Bennett climbs all over the back of Fellaini, leaving the ref with no real choice but to point to the spot!

18 mins: Baines clearly holds back McGlashan and the ref awards Cheltenham a free-kick near the right corner flag. The Toffees clear it, but come the League Two outfit with Carter who cracks a shot from 20 yards straight at Howard.

15 mins: Nearly two in three minutes for Everton! Fellaini nods the ball back into Jelavic's path, who then sends a fierce right-footed volley wide from 15 yards out.

12 MINS: GOAL TO EVERTON! Has the chance for a cup upset disappeared already?! The opener comes as Fellaini's low, curling shot smacks the post and following in is JELAVIC who slides the rebound over the goal-line!

10 mins: There's a slip-up at the back for Cheltenham which allows Oviedo to come in and steal the ball but he cannot get a shot away and the hosts rescue the situation.

7 mins: Chance for Cheltenham! After Fellaini's long range shot flashes wide, the hosts respond with Mohamed who squares it to Carter. The ex-Brum and Baggies player gives himself half a yard before scuffing one wide of the right post.

Bill - "everton lose 1 - 0 just feel an upset on the cards"

3 mins: A quiet start to the match with Cheltenham already trying to play the long ball up to the lone striker Goulding. The Everton defence are yet to be properly tested yet though.

0 mins: Peep! Cheltenham, in their red and white home strip, get us underway at Whaddon Road.

1900:Welcome to the FA Cup third round clash between Cheltenham and Everton at Whaddon Road. The winners of this tie will face a trip to either Bolton or Sunderland. The hosts, who currently sit fourth in League Two and have won 8 of their 12 home matches, make two changes with Pack and Mohamed replacing Taylor and Duffy.

Everton boss David Moyes has named a strong team with Baines, Fellaini and Jelavic all starting for the Toffees. He makes three changes in total with Coleman, Oviedo and Anichebe all coming in.
