Former Paris champions gain entry

Safin: Bowing out in Paris
Former Paris Masters champions Marat Safin and Sebastien Grosjean have been given wildcard entries for the 2009 tournament.
Safin, who is set to retire from the sport at the end of the event, won the indoor tournament for the third time in 2004, while home favourite Grosjean triumphed in 2001.
Another Frenchman, Michael Llodra, runner-up to Ivan Ljubicic at the Lyon Grand Prix on Sunday, has also been given a wildcard.
The competition is the ninth and final ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event of the season, and will get underway in the French capital from November 8-15.
