No. 7 - John Higgins: Higgins and then manager Pat Mooney were accused - after a News of the World sting - of fixing four frames at separate tournaments for 300,000 Euros. Higgins was immediately suspended, but denied any wrongdoing and said: "I didn't know if this was the Russian mafia or who we were dealing with. At that stage, I felt the best course of action was just to play along with these guys and get out of Russia." Higgins was cleared of match fixing, but fined £75,000 and banned for six months.
