
No.5 - Kirk Stevens: Things started to go wrong for the talented, clean-cut, Canadian when he began dabbling with drugs. The addiction reached its height at the final of the 1985 British Open. He lost to Silvino Francisco, who accused him of being "as high as a kite". Stevens did not deny it and sought treatment for cocaine addiction. He was never the same player and steadily fell out of the game into a variety of odd jobs.
