We pick our hits and misses of the 2011-12 Barclays Premier League season, starting with team of the season - Man City: They may have pots of cash to buy all and sundry but they still needed to do the job on the pitch, and duly did so to win a first title since 1968, in unbelievably dramatic fashion. Honourable mentions to Man Utd for coming so close but also Norwich and Swansea for punching above their weight, and Newcastle for shaking up the top four.
