Andy Murray's Grand Slam woes

2010: Marin Cilic provided Murray's last Grand Slam defeat of 2009, so it was fitting that the Scot beat the Croat to book his second Grand Slam final spot at the Australian Open. Once more, Murray loses to Federer in straight sets. It takes him some time to recover from the mental scars but he manages to reach the last four at Wimbledon, though Nadal proves too strong once again. Of his failure in the Slams, Murray says: "I'm hungry to win one. So far it's not been good enough but I'm sure one day it will be."

What a misery guts you are Matthew Poll.Yes he is Scottish but if he wins a major suddenly he will become British.John Henderson,Murray has achieved more in his career to date than Henman ever achieved in his whole career.I wish him all the best . I also supported Henman in his day and yes,I am Scottish.Cheer up Matthew and stop throwing your toys out of the pram.

dont care if he was british still wouldnt support him or any other jock for that matter and thats another toy out of my pram...lets build hadrians wall taller to keep you lot out and give you your independance and see you slide into nothing.

Murray lacks the "killer instinct" needed to win a Grand Slam title. On his day he can beat anyone in the world but when it comes to the 4 big titles, there's something lacking. I rather think he's going to end up like Colin Montgomery or Lee Westwood in the golfing world as being the best player never to win a Grand Slam.
