The Old Firm derby has rarely been an understated affair, the 10 May 1980 Scottish Cup final being a case in point. Celtic won matters on the field with a solitary goal in extra-time after which their fans stormed into the field. Rangers supporters did the same and a mass brawl ensued. It led to alcohol being banned at Scottish football grounds for 14 years.
