Some more football north of the border, in this game a feisty encounter between Hibernian and Aberdeen on 23 March 1985. There were fights before the match and a Hibernian fan was left in a coma. Trouble followed inside the stadium with all manner of objects being thrown onto the pitch, including a iron bolt that hit Aberdeen goalkeeper Jim Leighton on the neck. The referee stopped the match saying the scenes were "the worst I've ever witnessed".
