Wales wing George North looked shocked to see a fan clambering on his back after he'd scored a try in the Six Nations victory over France. It later transpired the clamberer was North's father David, totally overcome by his son's moment of glory. As Orange discovered, top-class sport does not lack for over-excited, and occasionally, totally bonkers dads. >>>>

We were at a schoolboys moto cross event with my son who rode. One of the fathers was caught by the officials beating his son for not winning the previous race! He had been seen at other events doing the same and warned him, this time he was banned from all UK events, Unfortunately as his father drove him to events the son also stopped riding, and spoilt his enjoyment of competing.
