John Tomic - The father of big-serving Aussie young gun Bernard Tomic has already made enough headlines to last his son's whole career. He accused Lleyton Hewitt of "bullying a minor" after Hewitt suggested his son was not quite ready to turn pro. Father and son had a bust-up in Miami last year which led to Bernard asking the umpire if he could have his father removed. When his son was two sets and 5-0 down against Andy Roddick at the US Open, he simply walked out disgusted by his son's performance. It was also reported that Tomic Sr had run a car containing two coaches off the road in a fit of rage in 2006.

We were at a schoolboys moto cross event with my son who rode. One of the fathers was caught by the officials beating his son for not winning the previous race! He had been seen at other events doing the same and warned him, this time he was banned from all UK events, Unfortunately as his father drove him to events the son also stopped riding, and spoilt his enjoyment of competing.
